Kent Morgan started his career in the electrical industry at Essco Wholesale Electric. Kent’s primary position was Warehouse Assistant Manager, and with determination quickly moved to inside sales. This position made it possible for him to learn all the components of the electrical parts industry.

In January of 2007, Kent’s drive and work ethic resulted in another promotion to Project Manager in Essco’s newly formed Projects Department. His primary responsibilities included quoting, purchasing, and managing commercial electrical gear and lighting projects. This broad range of skill sets needed provided Kent with the ability to take projects from quoting stage to project completion, and his extensive knowledge regarding gear makes him invaluable in solar project comprehension and design.

Because of Kent’s project management experience and knowledge, he was recruited to assist in creating Essco’s Solar Division. This promotion gave him the opportunity to learn the solar industry from the ground up. As a solar specialist, he worked with new and existing Essco electrical contractors in system design, materials quoting, product procurement, and field supervision and commissions services.

Kent started with Lafferty Electric Technologies in July 2011 as Director of the Energy Division. His knowledge of the most current renewable energy systems design and best practices, along with his skill sets as Project Manager, will ensure his success in the renewable energy industry.
